How can I sponsor a school?

Schools can be sponsored by any public visitor. In order to sponsor a school, the public visitor must search for and locate the school's event page. From the event page the visitor can access that school's donation form. Gifts given through this donation form are credited to that school. To sponsor a school, a visitor can select the 'Sponsor Now' button from the Math-A-Thon Home Page and following the process below:

  1.   From the image map of the United States , the visitor will click on the state in which their school resides.
  2. After having selected a state, the visitor can search for their school by entering the first four letters of their school's name and clicking submit.
  3. The visitor may then select their school from a list of schools matching the submitted criteria if the school is recruited and the coordinator has registered.
  4. The Web page of the selected school will display. From here, a visitor may choose the ' Sponsor School ' link.
  5. The visitor will then complete the donation form by entering all of the required information and submitting the form.

From the Math-A-Thon Landing page, the school web page or the student web page, a visitor can select a link to 'Tell a Friend'. This link allows a public visitor to email friends and family about pages that they have discovered.

The 'Tell a Friend' link, when clicked, will direct the visitor to a form that will allow the visitor to enter their name and email address, designate mail recipient(s), and submit a brief message and subject line about their page of interest.
